Privacy Policy
Our Commitment to Your Privacy
At NajmiNet Innovations — the team behind QDevOps.io — we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and the quantum workloads you run on our platform.
Introduction
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the QDevOps.io platform — a DevOps and observability layer for quantum workloads, including circuit optimization, multi-vendor execution, error mitigation, and run-level observability.
GDPR Compliance
We are committed to protecting your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the following rights:
- Right to Access — request a copy of your personal data at any time.
- Right to Rectification — request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure — request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability — request your data in a structured, portable format.
- Right to Object — object to certain types of data processing.
- Right to Restrict Processing — limit how we use your data while a complaint is reviewed.
Information We Collect
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our services:
Account Information
- Your full name and the organization you represent
- Email address and any contact details you provide
- Authentication credentials (password hashes — never plaintext)
- Billing and tax identification details where applicable
Quantum Workload Data
- Quantum circuits and program definitions you submit
- Run results, measurement counts, and post-processed observables
- Project metadata, run lineage, and saved experiments
- Error mitigation reports and noise characterization data
- Files and attachments you upload to a project
Usage Information
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and browser information (User-Agent, OS, screen resolution)
- Pages visited, features used, and timing of interactions
- API request metadata (endpoint, status code, latency) — for reliability and abuse prevention
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the QDevOps.io platform
- To dispatch your jobs to QPU providers and return results to you
- To process payments, subscriptions, and quantum-compute-time billing
- To communicate with you about your account, service status, and support requests
- To analyze platform performance and prioritize the roadmap
- To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations
Data Security
We implement defense-in-depth measures to protect your data:
- Encryption in transit — TLS 1.2+ on every connection between you, our platform, and our QPU partners.
- Encryption at rest — AES-256 for databases, backups, and uploaded files.
- Secure infrastructure — hosted in certified data centers with physical and network access controls.
- Least-privilege access — production data access is limited to a small set of authorized engineers and audited.
- Backups — automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery.
- Continuous monitoring — 24/7 logging and alerting for suspicious activity.
- Vendor isolation — your circuits are scoped per project; we never mix tenants on the wire.
Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time, and we will permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, billing records typically retained for 7 years for tax purposes).
Backups are rotated on a 30-day schedule, so deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your own — primarily the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and the United States, where our hosting and QPU partners operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions where applicable) to protect your information in compliance with GDPR and other applicable laws.
Children's Privacy
QDevOps.io is a B2B/research platform and is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of your personal data
- Correct or update your information
- Delete your account and the data associated with it
- Export your projects, runs, and saved experiments in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@najmi.net. We will respond within 30 days.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes we will notify you by email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
